Red Devon USA is a non-profit organization dedicated to the preservation and promotion of Devon cattle.  As a cattle farmer raising Red Devon cattle, my experience with Red Devon USA has been instrumental in both marketing and managing my animals. The organization plays a significant role in preserving the breed, and I genuinely appreciate their efforts to maintain the unique qualities of Red Devon cattle. A critical aspect of their registration process is the requirement for DNA testing of both the dam and sire, which ensures the genetic integrity of my herd and enhances my credibility with buyers. Additionally, the information on breed standards and other resources offered have helped me adopt effective breeding practices and improve my herd management. The connections I’ve forged within the community of breeders have also proven valuable, allowing for collaboration and the sharing of insights. Overall, being involved with Red Devon USA has not only supported my endeavors but has also instilled a sense of honor in contributing to the preservation of this remarkable breed.  I strongly recommend becoming a member, as it has greatly benefited my journey as a farmer.
